Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, where she is a coach for athletes. Annie is the first woman to be crowned the winner of at the CrossFit Games twice. In 2010, she finished in second place. Annie Thorisdottir was an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion as well as a media star. Her fame has been built on being the only woman who has ever won two CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. In addition, she is known for being the winner of in the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie, along with both her parents and siblings were birthed in Reykjavik Iceland. She enjoyed playing sports and started working out at the age of five. The first time she participated was time in 2009 in CrossFit Games in California in which she performed well. Annie Thorisdottir will be aged 31 (by 2021). Her height stands at 5'7" and she weighs around 67kg. Annie started CrossFit when she was in California. In the initial games she was very successful and was ranked in the top 10 among 70. The team did not get any results from this tournament and she ended her time with an overall score of 11. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. under the direction of Jami Tikkanen, Annie finished 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded the Silver Medal that year. Following that, she was a participant in another CrossFit events and thanks to her outstanding performance she was able to win the games becoming the first woman to win CrossFit Games. Annie's outstanding performance in 2012 helped her to another CrossFit Games victory. This was her second time that she had won consecutively. Additionally, in 2014, she was awarded a silver medal and recently in 2021 won a bronze medal in CrossFit Games. Annie is a coach and trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik. It was her concept. Annie's growing recognition as a professional athlete has seen her become the model for a variety of brands in sports, like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Periodization Nuunhydration Sidekick Yerbae. She also has her own Youtube channel named "Annie", with over 1000 followers. It is the channel where she uploads videos about training diet, family life and travel.
