Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez is a popular Mexican-American actress singer and writer. Sara Ramirez was raised with her American mother. She encountered a number of racial slurs, which made her feel unwelcome. Her confidence began to grow in the ninth grade when she entered a school audition and was highly praised for her singing. This not only increased the confidence of her, but was also a change in the direction of her professional career. She was a graduate of the New York's Julliard School at the age of 22. When she turned 23 she began her journey on Broadway in Paul Simon's The Capeman. Then, aged 23 she made her film debut in You've Got Mail. The character of The Lady of The Lake is her greatest breakthrough, bringing herself the Tony Award in addition to critical acclaim for her performance. Later in the same year she was cast in the ABC program Grey's Anatomy as Dr. Callie Torres and gained wider appreciation for her performance. Also, she is a well-known singer and has published an extended version of her play. She also works as an LGBT activist.
